it's good to know that i finally have some time to sit down and blog. i've been very busy lately, and i think the lack of updates very well speaks for itself. i've literally been going to college, coming back from college, bla bla bla-ing at home, and then going back to college again the following day. that has pretty much been my schedule for the past 2 weeks or so. and at home, the only things which i do besides eating and sleeping, are studying and watching american idol. ok, maybe not to that extent, but you get me, right?
the ironic part though, is that i don't feel stressed up at all. the trials are in 2 weeks time, and i still feel like my life is moving on a somewhat easy-going pace. compared to the hectic months before spm, this is actually quite relaxing. not that i've done all my revision. i'm not even close. i'm just saying, i'm not feeling worked up. maybe it's the reduced number of subjects, or maybe it's the looser timetable i have this semester. i don't know.
anyway, there's been a couple of things which i've been working on lately. first up, scholarship applications. yup it's the time of the year, and seeing that i'm in my third and final semester of a-levels, i shall be keeping my eyes peeled for good scholarships available out there. i've managed to bookmark several as to date, them including bank negara and sc. i don't want to miss out on the datelines again like i did last year, so i really have to be more careful this time. tiki, who's been a really great source when it comes to scholarships is hoping i'd get the sc one. he says, "at least then i'll have someone i know working with me there." truthfully speaking, i hope i get it just as much. just think about the fortune i would save daddy. not that i won't be going to uk should i not get a scholarship of course, daddy says that i'm still going with or without one. which is always very comforting to know.
second up. the barack obama's 100th day celebration in may. one of daddy's associates wants me to perform. it's really close to my A2 exams but i somehow found it hard to reject. instead, i'm getting some of my mpyo friends to perform together with me. the datuk calls it a 'historical-day-to-be'. great, now that i'll be spending more time going to mpo for practices, my time allocated for studies is going to be shorten even dearly. funny how i'm juggling my time between music and studies all over again.
speaking of juggling, my classmates and i have recently learnt to juggle our time between the classrooms and the CC. yes, there's this online game called left4dead(which i find much easier to address as "bang bang") that has left my friends quite literally addicted to. it's actually a shooting game with 2 teams basically, 4 a side. honestly, i've never once in the life of mine imagined myself getting involved in such cybercafe activities. and yet i did. what can i say? i'm hoping to join the likes of kitleong in his cyberworld one day.
and guess what? mr mohan caught me in the CC that day. he was telling me how sad he is that i'm not studying instead and bla bla bla lol. my crazy friends are actually coming up with a theory that he likes me. xin yin says that i'm the only visible one to him. which i can't help but to laugh to because she does that facial thing everytime she says that lol. xin yin xin yin...
ok moving on. so this isn't exactly something i look forward for, but i'm turning 18 soon. and i get the feeling that this is probably going to be the most uneventful birthday ever. it's during the stretch of my final A2 exams. how lucky eh? i get to celebrate my 18th birthday with 200++ pages of biology, while other 18y/os get to do so with alcohol and friends. i shall mope till i die.
ok ok i'm just kidding! i don't really mind actually. i'll turn 18 one way or the other anyways. i'm just saying, having a birthday during an exam isn't quite the most pleasant thought there is. haha but i'm cool with it.
ok seems like i'm running short on ideas. but i'm quite sure they'll come back! this ends here for now.
i'm thinking of a title..
