all of a sudden i'm feeling nervous again, like i normally do before a piano recital.
its the exam season right now and i have absolutely no reason at all to be worried about things like my uni applications. but i can't help it. some of my friends have already gotten replies from their universities through ucas. and i can assure you the news are not all good. a good friend of mine who's always been an absolutely brilliant student has just been rejected by 2 top universities for the economics degree he applied for.
i can't believe it. if he can't get in then who can?
i'm really scared. what if i don't get in? what if the unis i applied to don't think i'm good enough? what if i don't get to read law in the uk?
come on UCAS. some good news would really help.

i hope u get it :)
thank you anusha :)
You remind me of my friends. Just relax. Someone of your credentials shouldn't run into problems.
You shouldn't have much of a problem. But then again, it's always better to stay on the side of prudence. One thing I can assure you though, in our times, brains alone can't assure in anyone through the gates of prestigious unis.
But no worries! You'll do fine! =)

thanks jian wei. i'll keep that in mind:)
Law shouldn't be a problem, though. The trouble with Econs is that it's bloody competitive.
what are you saying it's easier to get in because i applied for law? law is just as tough, if not tougher.
its true, econs is extremely competitive, you should be ok for law.
good luck! i know the waiting just KILLS but theres really not much we can do now! i wish you all the best! xxxxx
i suppose it all depends on the uni. of course lse would be really tough to get in for econs students but that doesnt make it easy for us law applicants.
anyway thanks for trying to make me feel better eswhy. but i don't think anything can take away the nerves from me right now!
good luck with applications!
of course competition is equally great for both law and econs. but i'm sure with your credentials you'll be able to get into a top university. and like what jian wei said, brains alone don't make the cut to those universities. :)
yeh..he's right. i guess they're going to look very carefully into my lnat results and mentor's testimonial then. since there isn't much materials from us applicants which they can judge on.
thanks anyway! :)
