i was there today with thanesyah, ching, xin yin and kirsha(thanesyah's 13 y/o sister). we watched the concerto a finals in the morning and after that we headed off to sakae sushi in klcc for lunch. then we went kinokuniya to get thanesyah a copy of the twilight book something which everyone is so into at the moment.
then at 1 pm, we went back to the panggung bandaraya for the announcement of results. i already had a few favourites in mind before that, amongst them being 12y/0 kim min jeong from korea who did an amazing scherzo, china's 15y/o gu jingdan who played the best chopin 1st concerto i've ever heard for a long time now, japan's 33y/o doi rie who played an equally fantastic concerto no 2, randy ryan and of course my indonesian girls, audrey and prudence.
and when the results came out, they all did tremendously well. including prudence who got a silver! anyway, i've made a list just scroll down.
pru and me. i took a video of her with my cell phone as sean who couldn't make it for the competition missed her too much and wanted a glimpse of her.
all the finalists and prize winners. and the members of the jury. AND mrs p of course.

Chopin competition reaches a climax - News Straits Time :)
the panggung bandaraya. which still looks the same as it did 2 years ago.
the piano. if im not mistaken its the same model too. and oh boy do i love the backdrop! though i must say that chopin himself was looking very much like emma watson from where we were sitting :\
the programme booklet was entirely coloured this time. and it cost 4 times it did the last time. harhar..
audrey after her performance with prima vista. this was the last shot i took until one of the helpers told me to switch off my camera. urgghhh..
