My Wish List of 10

i've tried saying them in my dreams before but it doesn't quite seem enough. so i've decided to put them into words instead. so here are my current top 10 wishes, however ridiculous some/most of them may sound. dare to dream i say!


1) Visit Salzburg, Austria. no. 1 on my list would be a visit to salzburg, home to the sound of music! i've always dreamt of going there ever since i first watched the movie at 5. i could never get bored of the von trapps even if it means watching them for the gazillionth time. i want to run on the green hills maria ran on, sing the famous songs the von trapp kids sang, and waltz in the gazebo liesel and friedrich waltzed in!


2) Pick up figure skating. i dream of becoming of an ice-skater one day. as much as i know this should be left as a dream, and nothing more, i'm just as eager to learn a skill or two. i just adore how some girls can skate so well! i wish i were them. perhaps i should give it a wild shot this holiday.


3) Climb Mount Everest i suppose this is in almost everybody's to-do list, so i'm no exception. i want to be the youngest person alive to conquer the highest peak in the world. its a pity really, someone already did it at 15. perhaps i should be the first kid to do it in a dress then.


4) Meet Barrack Obama in person that's no. 4 on the list. i think i speak for many when i say mr barrack obama ought to be the next president of the usa. his judgement, temperament and intelligence(not to mention his charisma) make him an excellent candidate i feel. he's come a long way since harvard and is now on the brink of becoming the first black president of america. he's phenomenal and i'm so proud of him. and that's why meeting him is so definitely on my wish list =)


5) To be kissed by the most handsome guy in the world and that will be the day i become a grandmother. because it will be my grandson.


6) Spend a night in prison. no i'm not crazy. i really really want to know what it's like. i want to hang out with inmates and perhaps learn a thing or two. they say that going for NS makes you a stronger person. i say hell no, go to penitentiary and spend a night there instead. it works a 100x faster and is more effective. you'll come out a tough cookie. so tough not even the great kali or any of his men can come your way. i wouldn't be too surprised if i do manage to plan an escape during my night there too. after all, i did watch all three seasons of prison break. if i know how to break in, then i'll know how to break out.


7) Spend a weekend in New York no. 8 on my list, a weekend in my dreeeeeeeaaam city. its the ultimate shopping paradise for tourists to be in. the empire state building, the statue of liberty, the central park...all absolutely breathtaking! if i ever go to new york, i definitely won't forget to pay a visit to ground zero too. i want to see what's left of what was once known to be the world trade centre, a symbol of what mass destructions human beings are capable of.


8) Get a new dress everyday every sane(i hope) girl in possession of her right mind would agree with me on this. i somehow tend to get a kick out of seeing my wardrobe grow at the rate of an inflating balloon. its like guys getting kicks outta booze, only with dresses we don't end up with a hangover.


9) Have lunch with Lang Lang my favourite pianist in the whole wide world. some people despise him and i can't seem to understand why. lunch with him would be terrific as i can get him to tell me all his never-ending stories as a world renowned pianist. it'd be bloody fantastic.


10) That I was perfect AND Straight A's in my A-level exams (updated..)




Ps - santa if you're reading this, i'd like you to know that i've been a very naughty girl this year. you should make my wishes come true because i know you like naughty girls.
