it's the new year.
outside, people are still wishing each other.
we saw the lovely fireworks shot into the sky
like we do every year.
i see blessed wishes and happy faces everywhere.
and yet, i am not overwhelmed.
i don't see what the big deal is,
perhaps i will when i'm 80.
but not right now at 17, no.
it's a new year. so what?
it feels just like any other day.
life still goes on just like it had before.
new year's eves are so overrated.
A-N-Y-W-A-Y. let's not forget it's daddy's birthday too today! i mean 30 minutes ago haha.
he turned 49.
i think birthdays are so much more worth celebrating.
we went to a thai restaurant for dinner today,
and played monopoly after that,
which i triumphantly won.
mommy and i went shopping today.
bought quite some stuff,
i might post them up tomorrow:)
